Ambassador Baptist College will host our third biennial Baptist Heritage Conference September 15-17, 2010. Baptists today face constant pressure to compromise and weaken Biblical positions. This conference seeks to encourage independent Baptist pastors to hold the standard high in our present day by drawing on the example and courage of our Baptist predecessors. Come join us as we seek to answer such questions as:
- What happens when Baptists mix with Calvinism and Reformed Theology?
- What is the historic New Testament role of the stateside Baptist pastor in the work of foreign missions?
- What role have Baptist evangelists and revivalists played in the growth of Baptists in America?
- Is religious liberty the gift of the Baptists to America?
- Was Augustine a friend of the Baptist people?
- What is the legacy of a man like R.V. Clearwaters?
Conference highlights will include a visit to Valdese, NC, question and answer session with the conference speakers, and a reenactment of John Bunyan’s trial in Bedford, England.
