Pentateuch
3.0 Credit Hours
An analysis of the content of the first five books of the Bible, with special attention given to Creation, the fall of man, the flood, and the tower of Babel, along with a brief refutation of the critics’ arguments. The historical development of the Jewish nation from Abraham until the end of the wilderness wanderings is emphasized.

Old Testament Historical Books
3.0 Credit Hours
This course consists of a systematic study of the Old Testament books from Joshua through Esther. The study will include an analysis of each book giving special attention to the lives of Joshua, Samuel, and David, and a synopsis of the kings and divided kingdom subsequent to the reign of Solomon.

Life of Christ
3.0 Credit Hours
A comprehensive and harmonistic study of the earthly life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in the four gospels.

Acts
2.0 Credit Hours
A historical study of the foundations of the early New Testament church and the spread of the Gospel in apostolic times. Attention is given to how the New Testament epistles fit into this historical book.

General Bible Introduction
2.0 Credit Hours
A study of the process by which God gave us the Bible, including revelation, inspiration, illumination, canonization, and preservation, with emphasis on why we should use the King James Version of the Bible.

Poetical Books
2.0 Credit Hours
An exegetical study of the Old Testament poetical books of Job through the Song of Solomon. Emphasis is placed on the theme, practical lessons, composition of Hebrew poetry, and figures of speech.

Major Prophets
3.0 Credit Hours
An analytical study of the historical backgrounds and major prophetic messages of the books Isaiah through Daniel.
BI 205.2
Dispensations
2.0 Credit Hours
A study of the dispensational approach to Biblical interpretation, with a discussion of the details and distinctions of the various dispensations and answers to the criticisms of non- dispensationalists.
BI 206.3
Pauline Epistles
3.0 Credit Hours
A study of the background and a basic analysis of Romans through Philemon. Major themes and doctrines of each epistle are emphasized.
BI 211.2
Bible Geography and Archaeology
2.0 Credit Hours
A study of the geography of the Bible lands from the Garden of Eden to modern Palestine, including an introduction to Biblical archaeology as it relates to geographical locations and supports Bible truths.
