Gospel of John
2.0 Credit Hours
An analytical study providing many proofs for the deity of Christ and for the exclusiveness of His provision of salvation.

Baptist History and Distinctives
3.0 Credit Hours
A survey of the local New Testament church, identifying various groups leading up to the Anabaptists and to Baptist churches today. Baptist heritage, distinctives, and polity are included.

Christian Home
2.0 Credit Hours
The basic Biblical principles involved in establishing a Christian home from courtship to marriage, husband and wife relationships, child training, finances, etc.
CE 203.2
Teaching Bible
2.0 Credit Hours
A course designed to prepare the prospective teacher with techniques and materials to teach the Bible to children. Same as ED 203.2.
CE 301.3
Education of the Child
3.0 Credit Hours
An investigation of the characteristics of the child, with an emphasis on materials, methods, and agencies which can be used by churches to lead the child to salvation and spiritual development. Mention is made of the home schooling of children. Same as ED 201.3.
CE 302.3
Teaching Techniques
3.0 Credit Hours
A study of principles basic to Christian teaching, including lesson plans, audiovisual techniques, and the organization and management of materials for effective classroom presentation. Same as ED 302.3.
CE 306.2
Help Meet
2.0 Credit Hours
A course designed to instruct women to be prepared to serve God. The role of the help meet in the ministry will be given special consideration: her Biblical creation, her God-given role and responsibilities, and her necessary Godly character.

Methods of Teaching Arts and Crafts
2.0 Credit Hours
Designed to give practical ideas on the use of arts and crafts in the local church. This includes Christian school, vacation Bible school, home Bible clubs, camp crafts, etc. A supply fee is required. Same as ED 108.2.
CE 310.3
Youth Ministries I
3.0 Credit Hours
An intensive study of the history of youth ministry and the developmental characteristics of the adolescent. An examination of philosophy (including the effects of Christian schools and home schools on the church), principles, methods, and materials useful in the training of adolescents, as well as the important role of the local-church, Bible-centered, Christian-service-oriented youth program.
CE 312.3
Youth Ministries II
3.0 Credit Hours
A concentration on the implementation of a youth program, including preaching, teaching, evangelistic outreach, and public-school adolescents. Emphasis will be given to practical projects of learning, including calendar and budget planning, games, retreats, and activities. Pre-requisite: CE 310.3 or equivalent.
