Systematic Theology I

3.0 Credit Hours

A systematic study of Prolegomena, Bibliology, Theology Proper, Christology, Pneumatology, Soteriology, Anthropology, and Hamartiology.

BI 214.3

Systematic Theology II

3.0 Credit Hours

A continuation of BI 213.3, dealing with Angelology, Ecclesiology, Eschatology, Separation, and Evangelism and Missions.

BI 215.3

Elementary Greek Grammar I

3.0 Credit Hours

An introductory course consisting of a thorough study of the basic grammar of New Testament Greek. During the second semester, I John is translated. Pre-requisite: a proficiency in English grammar demonstrated on the English placement exam, or GE 110.3, or equivalent.

Elementary Greek Grammar II

3.0 Credit Hours

An introductory course consisting of a thorough study of the basic grammar of New Testament Greek. During the second semester, I John is translated. Pre-requisite: a proficiency in English grammar demonstrated on the English placement exam, or GE 110.3, or equivalent.

Minor Prophets

2.0 Credit Hours

The chronological order of the twelve minor prophets is set forth, along with the background, theme, date, and author of each book. Each prophet is surveyed, noting especially the prophecies of long-range importance to Israel.

BI 303.3

Hebrews and General Epistles

3.0 Credit Hours

A study of the backgrounds and a basic analysis of the books of Hebrews through Jude.

BI 304.2

Christology

2.0 Credit Hours

A systematic study of the person and work of Jesus Christ, His deity, humanity, death, burial, resurrection, and exaltation. Pre-requisite: BI 213.3 or equivalent.

BI 306.2

Current Trends in Theology

2.0 Credit Hours

A study of current trends in theology, including an investigation into the leaders, thinking, and results of these movements. Includes a study of fundamentalism, liberalism, new evangelicalism, the modern charismatic movement, the new age movement, dominion theology, and feminism.

BI 309.2

Hermeneutics

2.0 Credit Hours

A study of the science of Biblical interpretation following the dispensational approach, with emphasis on the literal, historical, and grammatical method of interpretation. Some difficult passages are given special attention.

BI 312.2

Soteriology

2.0 Credit Hours

A systematic study of the Biblical doctrine of salvation. Includes a study of some of the great doctrinal words like repentance, election, faith, adoption, regeneration, sanctification, justification, etc. Pre-requisite: BI 213.3 or equivalent.
