PT 102.05

The Preacher and His Ministry 1B

0.5 Credit Hour

The Preacher and His Ministry course is designed to deal with contemporary issues, ministerial ethics, practical problems in the ministry, and positive steps in building sound, fundamental Baptist churches. The various gifts mentioned in Ephesians 4 are emphasized, with a strong admonition to utilize those gifts in a local New Testament church. Two Preacher and His Ministry courses are taught each year on a four-year cycle. Therefore, a student will not necessarily take them in numerical order. Every male student is required to take the particular Preacher and His Ministry course offered each semester he is enrolled in Ambassador Baptist College.

PT 103.1

Evangelist 1A

1.0 Credit Hour

The calling of an evangelist, the qualities of an evangelist, the importance of using evangelists, fallacies of ecumenical evangelism, platform manners, and management.

PT 104.1

Evangelist 1B

1.0 Credit Hour

Scripture memory, the doctrine of separation, creating a preaching atmosphere, preparation for revival, and revival.

PT 106.2

Christian Discipleship

2.0 Credit Hours

This is a practical course designed to teach students how to disciple new or maturing believers. Principles of Christian growth and daily walk are emphasized along with foundational Bible truths essential for all believers to know and practice in order to be established in their faith.

PT 110.2

Advanced Evangelism

2.0 Credit Hours

The student will become familiar with the principles and methods of effective evangelism dealing with, but not limited to, Catholics, Mormons, and Jehovah’s Witnesses. The student will also learn extensive methods and gain resources on how to disciple new converts.

PT 111.05

Christian Womanhood 1A

0.5 Credit Hour

Christian Womanhood offers practical guidelines for every Christian lady in the areas of Godliness; appearance; etiquette; proprieties; personal, marriage, and family relationships; and time and money management. Much emphasis is given to the training and preparation for being wives of Christian workers. Along with studies of Scripture, much will be gleaned from biographical sketches of wives of great Christian leaders in the past. Two Christian Womanhood courses are taught each year on a four-year cycle. Therefore, a student will not necessarily take them in numerical order. Each female student is required to take the particular Christian Womanhood course offered each semester she is enrolled in Ambassador Baptist College.

Introduction to Sewing

2.0 Credit Hours

A practical course intended to introduce the student to the basics of sewing while emphasizing basic stitches, how to understand and read a pattern, and how to operate a sewing machine. A course fee is required.
