Evangelist 3B
1.0 Credit Hour
Counseling, managing a book table, common sense for evangelists, methods to obtain meetings, the kind of evangelist not to be, and leadership of an evangelist.
PT 307.3
Homiletics
3.0 Credit Hours
An introductory study of the preparation and delivery of sermons with special emphasis on types, content, and sources of material for sermons. Classroom presentation is required, with constructive criticism given. Pre-requisite: GE 214.3 or equivalent.
PT 308.3
Expository Preaching
3.0 Credit Hours
A consideration of the steps involved in effective expository preaching including a careful exegetical study of the passage, creative practical arrangement of the sermon material, and dynamic pulpit presentation. Pre-requisite: PT 307.3 or equivalent.
PT 310.3
Basic Maintenance and Repair
3.0 Credit Hours
A practical, hands-on approach to learning the necessary basics for maintenance and repair around the house or church. Proper selection of tools, equipment, shop and tool safety, and procedures will be discussed and practiced for each area studied. The areas of study include basic carpentry, electrical wiring, appliance repair, plumbing, and basic engines. Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning (HVAC) will be discussed in the classroom.

Christian Womanhood 3A
0.5 Credit Hour
Christian Womanhood offers practical guidelines for every Christian lady in the areas of Godliness; appearance; etiquette; proprieties; personal, marriage, and family relationships; and time and money management. Much emphasis is given to the training and preparation for being wives of Christian workers. Along with studies of Scripture, much will be gleaned from biographical sketches of wives of great Christian leaders in the past. Two Christian Womanhood courses are taught each year on a four-year cycle. Therefore, a student will not necessarily take them in numerical order. Each female student is required to take the particular Christian Womanhood course offered each semester she is enrolled in Ambassador Baptist College.

The Preacher and His Ministry course is designed to deal with contemporary issues, ministerial ethics, practical problems in the ministry, and positive steps in building sound, fundamental Baptist churches. The various gifts mentioned in Ephesians 4 are emphasized, with a strong admonition to utilize those gifts in a local New Testament church. Two Preacher and His Ministry courses are taught each year on a four-year cycle. Therefore, a student will not necessarily take them in numerical order. Every male student is required to take the particular Preacher and His Ministry course offered each semester he is enrolled in Ambassador Baptist College.

The evangelism of children, methods of gaining prospects, the preparation packet for evangelism, pitfalls of an evangelist, the training of personal workers, the proper care and use of voice, and methods of organizing meetings.

The servant’s personal life including his family, his finances, his perils, his wife, his attitude, his priorities, deterrents to sin, and preventing falling.
