Greek Exegesis: Galatians and Pastoral Epistles

3.0 Credit Hours

A study of the principal steps in the exegesis process with practical application to the texts of various New Testament books. Students will continue to translate portions of the Greek New Testament and will learn to apply the background, context, and word meanings in order to conclude with Biblical application. Pre-requisite: BI 316 or equivalent.

Job

2.0 Credit Hours

An analytical and expositional study dealing with the ever-present and ageless question, “Why do the Godly suffer?” Emphasis will also be made on the theological revelations found in this ancient book.

A study of the book of Psalms, with special emphasis on the Messianic Psalms as they reveal the Lord Jesus Christ from eternity past to eternity future.

Proverbs

2.0 Credit Hours

A study of Proverbs with emphasis on the practical application of these Biblical principles to Christian living.

BI 424.3

Isaiah

2.0 Credit Hours

A practical, historical, and analytical study with attention given to the Messianic prophecies, including their fulfillment and relationship to both Jews and Gentiles.
