The Corinthian Epistles

2.0 Credit Hours

A study of the background and a basic analysis of these books, giving God’s answers to major problems in local churches and the Apostle Paul’s defense of his ministry.

I & II Peter and Jude

2.0 Credit Hours

A study of I & II Peter and Jude, emphasizing the believers’ suffering and glory and their need to stand against false teaching and false teachers.

World Religions

3.0 Credit Hours

The doctrines of the major functioning religions of the world are analyzed to see how they compare with the doctrines of the Bible.

Hebrews

2.0 Credit Hours

A study of the background and a basic analysis of Hebrews, with an emphasis on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Theology II

3.0 Credit Hours

A consideration of Pneumatology, Angelology, Anthropology, and Hamartiology. Classroom instruction is intended to prepare the student for an eventual ordination council.

Hebrew Exegesis I

3.0 Credit Hours

An introduction to Hebrew exegesis which involves accurate translation, the syntax of Hebrew grammar, the method of doing a Hebrew word study, and the development of proper exegetical skills. Students will continue to translate portions of the Hebrew Old Testament and learn to apply the background, context, and word meanings in order to conclude with Biblical application. Pre-requisite: BI 542.3 or equivalent.

A consideration of Soteriology, Ecclesiology, and Eschatology. Classroom instruction is intended to prepare the student for an eventual ordination council.

Biblical Theology

3.0 Credit Hours

A study of the history of progressive Biblical revelation to mankind, as seen from a dispensational perspective.

BI 662.4

Church History

4.0 Credit Hours

A survey of the history and development of Christendom’s denominations with comparisons to New Testament church history and doctrine. This course will cover from the New Testament to the Reformation. Same as CE 603.3.
