Would you pray about investing in the next generation of preachers and full-time Christian workers?

 

Since 1989, Ambassador Baptist College has been training men and women for full-time Christian service. To date, we have more than 1,000 graduates scattered across the globe spreading the Gospel. This year, several of our alumni have preached in chapel and challenged our students to be ambassadors for Christ.

 

Every year, we rely on the help of churches and friends to help us train laborers for the harvest. This year is no different. Approximately 35% of our budget must be raised to keep our tuition rates at an affordable rate for our students. Many of the students come from large families or have parents who are serving sacrificially in full-time Christian service.

 

It is estimated that we will need to raise $200,000 by the end of December to finish the year in the black. The rising costs associated with inflation, the need to replace classroom audio-visual equipment, and the need to relocate our library and expand the gym necessitate most of this appeal.

 

Rising inflation has caused the costs of utilities, food, and many other items to rise. While the college has tried to anticipate these increases in the budget process, we will still need the help of folks like you to cross the finish line.

 

Several years ago, we upgraded our classrooms with projectors and monitors to provide a better learning experience for our students. Now, the time has come to replace many of these units that are used daily every week.

 

Last month, a large Baptist history library was donated to the college. However, we are out of room in the library and unable to display these rare works. We have discovered that we can move the library to the upstairs of the Alumni Commons and enlarge the library by a considerable amount. As a result of moving the library, we will also be able to enlarge the gym to its original size when constructed in the 1960s. The architectural work is scheduled to begin in January.
