At the beginning of every school year, the Levin Center is filled with craziness on a Friday night. What is the reason for all of the hysteria? League Draft. The student body is divided into three leagues – Knights, Watchmen, and Patriots. Throughout the year, these teams compete against each other in softball, volleyball, and other events.
On the day of League Draft, each league prepares a nice display to welcome their new members from the freshmen class. When the draft begins, each league presents a skit to tell the audience why they are the best. After the cheers and chants, Dr. Luiken calls each new student by name and places them into a league. The freshmen are welcomed in the craziest of fashions.
While Ambassador has a focus on training men and women for the Lord’s work, it is also a place where lasting friendships are formed, and clean fun is had. These leagues will compete throughout the year for the President’s Cup which is awarded the last week of the school year.
